Furman Harvey opened the shop on Bay Street in 1936. The building at 919 Bay Street went up in 1954, and that is where Ray started cutting on December 6, 1962. Ray and Johnny bought the place in 1993.

Downtown got hard to park. On June 1, 2022 the shop moved out to Lady's Island, where there is room to pull in.

Find the shop at 136 Sea Island Pkwy, Suite 8, in the Grayco Shopping Center, behind Regions Bank and Wells Fargo.
